A link will not download: what to check

Steps for unavailable sources, sign-in requirements and temporary failures.

1. Check that the link points to one post rather than a profile, search page or playlist. Open the original post in a normal browser.
2. Content requiring sign-in, a subscription, author permission or a password may be unavailable to Fetchoo. A public page does not guarantee access to its media streams. Do not give the service personal passwords.
3. For a temporary error or queue, wait until the suggested retry time. Repeated clicks do not speed up the source and can trigger rate limits.
4. Check platform availability on the status page. If another permitted post works, the issue may concern the individual item. Include the error category and your job number when requesting help.

Fetchoo does not bypass paid access, DRM or private-content permissions. Selecting another format does not make an unsupported source supported.
